The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the launch of the CES Conference Mobile Application! This interactive app will allow you to:

View the complete event schedule, explore all of the offered sessions, and get detailed presenter information.
Keep your pulse on the most popular sessions and events by accessing the app’s Activity Feed, which highlights useful comments, photos, ratings and more.
Receive announcements and obtain the most up-to-date event information.
Expand your professional network and have fun!

As a CES Conference participant, you will receive a welcome email from Double Dutch in which you will be provided with a link to download the free app. Please note that this email can be automatically sent to your spam folder. Once you have received the email, follow the instructions for the download. Alternatively, you can click on the following link: CES_SCE_APP to download the app. Log on the app by using your email address and the password provided in the welcome email.

If you have any questions or need help with the app, come and see us at the CES Conference – Congrès SCÉ app booth next to the registration desk! We will be there on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings before the first sessions start

Final Program Now Available

The final program is now available. As in previous years, there will be an online version of the program as well as a traditional hard copy if you wish to get one (opting out of the hard copy is possible at time of conference registration).In addition, this year CES is going mobile and launching an application that will allow you to consult and customize the program!! CESEF Silent Auction

CES Educational Fund to hold its annual fundraising Silent Auction at the CES 2015 Conference Opening Reception in Montreal! Among this year’s donations: four evaluation training modules from George Washington University, worth $2500! All donations are welcome; charitable tax receipts will be issued.

We regret to announce that Mr. Ernest House won’t be present in Montreal for the CES 2015 conference. However, we are thrilled to inform you that Lynn Alderman has been added to the opening and closing sessions. Lynn leads two portfolios evaluation and course quality at Queensland University of Technology (Australia). She is the President of the Australasian Evaluation Society and Editor for the Evaluation Journal of Australasia.

2015 marks RFE’s third year of formal existence. On this occasion, The Société québécoise d’évaluation de programme (SQÉP) and the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) are proud to host the RFE’s Annual General Meeting, which will be held on May 28, after the conclusion of the 36th CES conference in Montreal.

Call for Facilitators for the Thematic Breakfasts at C2015

Conference attendees are cordially invited to submit a proposal to facilitate a thematic breakfast, to be held Wednesday May 27 from 7:00 to 8:15 am. These small roundtable discussion groups provide an informal opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices on a specific evaluation-related theme, while enjoying morning coffee and buffet breakfast. Participation in any of the Thematic Breakfasts is open to all conference attendees.

If you would like to facilitate a Thematic Breakfast, please send, by Friday May 8^th 2015, to c2015info@evaluationcanada.ca :

Great news! The deadline to take advantage of the Early Bird Rates for this year’s conference in Montreal has been extended! The new deadline is April 14, 2015. We are also pleased to launch a preliminary version of the Program. Please note that this Program has not been finalized yet and it is subject to change. We will keep you informed of any major changes to the programming.

The Canadian Evaluation Society and the Société québécoise d’évaluation de programme are pleased to announce the lineup of plenary speakers for the CES 2015 Conference, to be held May 24–27 2015 at the Centre Sheraton in Montreal.

Every year the conference team works to put together a group of outstanding professionals whose experiences and knowledge across various sectors are of great value for the evaluation community.
